I've got several books by Lynette Eyson recommended according to the books I've bought or read. The day I've seen this one offered with a big discount I bought it to find out if I like it. In the meantime I've read it twice and bought the other books from this series because I like this one.I like very much the story line and the characters. Both are realistic and well developed, the Christian values are delivered in a clear and open way but not smothering the entire story.It's really cool that the characters and story are so well developed that it's still thrilling and gripping when you read it the second time and know the outcome of the book and who the real culprit is. I enjoyed the book the second time perhaps even more than the first time since I knew what would happen and concentrated more on language and writing skills than the actual story line.I can recommend this book to everyone loving clean romantic suspense or thrillers with strong Christian values. If you don't like Christian literature at all there are some other great authors you will enjoy much more :-)
This is my first time reading from this author, Lynette Eason. I love this book because it has everything: romance, thriller and suspense. It is also well written as a Christian book and the plot is good, never would have guess the ending. I love the way Lynette portray her heroes, Connor, Sam and Jenna. Connor as a tough guy struggling in his relationship with his teenage daughter, Jenna. And Jenna a typical teenager but learning how to make the right choices. Sam, gentle and strong with a head on her shoulders. Her relationship and reliance in God has inspired me even though I know that this is just a fiction.This book was worth the money I paid for, €3 but her next book is over €8! Even though it's a download. But I so want to read about Jamie's story, I will have to buy it then. Would I recommend this book, a definite yes!
Loved the plot, yet could have done without all the religious references to bible, god and faith and prayers and church going, as I am not intoany of this. Other than that the book is a fast paced thriller alla Criminal Minds, yet in the middle of the book I knew who the killer was, as I obviously read quite a few books of this genre. All in all a thrilling read.
I'm always looking for well-written christian fiction with a lot of suspense and a good message without being too pushy or with an ending where everyone at the end is becoming a christian and everything is just wonderful. There aren't too many. This is one of them.
Sehr spannend geschrieben und definitiv für Leser, die im Fernsehen auch amerikanische Krimi-Serien wie Criminal Minds mögen, sehr zu empfehlen.
